What TMS is

Transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) is a non-medication treatment offered in our Wheat Ridge office. It uses magnetic pulses at the scalp. Sessions are scheduled as a course of care, and whether TMS is appropriate is decided in a clinical visit.

Who it is for

Amber Grob offers TMS for treatment-resistant depression and other mood disorders. Dr. Grace Tycner offers TMS for treatment-resistant depression and OCD when medication has not been enough.

How to refer

Referring clinicians can call the office, fax records, or send a message. Choose TMS on the contact form so the note is filed with the right team.

Patient questionnaire

If you are a patient asking whether TMS may be a fit, you can complete the TMS inquiry questionnaire. When you upload your insurance on that form, it includes a free benefits check. The office uses the questionnaire as a starting point. It does not schedule treatment by itself.
