
Grace Tycner
Board Certified Psychiatrist
Dr. Tycner is a Board Certified Psychiatrist specializing in General Psychiatry. She earned her medical degree from the Academy of Medicine in Gdansk, Poland, and completed her Psychiatry Residency at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston from 2004 to 2008.
Dr. Tycner has extensive experience treating mood disorders, anxiety disorders, bipolar disorder, PTSD, OCD, ADHD, eating disorders, and psychotic disorders. She works in both inpatient and outpatient settings, treating a wide range of mental illnesses.
Dr. Tycner combines medication management with therapeutic approaches such as CBT. She also offers modern non-pharmacological treatments such as TMS (Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation) for treatment-resistant depression and OCD in patients who have not responded to medication. Her practice also provides ketamine treatment for affective disorders.
Outside of her clinical work, she enjoys hiking, reading, and spending time with her husband and daughter. Dr. Tycner is currently accepting new patients for both in-person and telehealth sessions.
